BMR Group PLC (BMR), formerly BMR Mining PLC, is engaged in the recovery of lead and zinc from the tailings deposits of mine at Kabwe. The Kabwe mine site occupies approximately three square kilometers (sq kms) and is situated south of Kabwe town and east of the great North Road in Zamibia in central-Southern Africa. The minerals being explored at The Kabwe Mine include Lead and Zinc. Its stockpiles of tailings at the Kabwe mine complex are held by Enviro Mining Ltd, a subsidiary of BMR, and its two other subsidiaries, Enviro Processing Ltd and Enviro Props Ltd. Enviro Processing Ltd holds the Small Scale Licence 7081-HQ-SML with respect to the tailings on Stand 5187 and the Large Scale Licence 6990-HQ-LML, which applies to over 700 hectares of the BMR site. Its projects are located in Zambia and Portugal. It has an option in the Ester Project in North Portugal with an exploration concession for tungsten, tin and other minerals, including gold and silver.
