Capital & Regional plc is a specialist real estate investment trust with a portfolio of in-town community shopping centers. The Company’s segments are Wholly-owned assets, Other UK Shopping Centres, Snozone and Group/Central. The Wholly-owned assets and Other UK Shopping Centres segments engage in the rental of investment properties. The Snozone and Group/Central segments involve in the operation of indoor ski slopes and management of property funds or schemes, respectively. The Wholly-owned assets segment consists of The Mall and The Marlowes Centre, Hemel Hempstead. The Other UK Shopping Centres segment consists of its interests in Kingfisher Limited Partnership (Redditch) and the Buttermarket Centre, Ipswich. The Company owns approximately seven shopping centers in Blackburn, Camberley, Hemel Hempstead, Luton, Maidstone, Walthamstow and Wood Green. It manages assets, which comprise over 950 retail units, as well as operates its in-house expert property and asset management platform.
