The Fund's investment objective is to replicate the performance of the WORLD WATER INDEX CW index (see the Reference indicator Index section), while minimizing as far as possible the tracking error between the Fund's performance and that of the WORLD WATER INDEX CW index. The tracking error objective calculated over a period of 52 weeks is less than 1%. If the tracking error exceeds 1% nonetheless, the objective is to remain below 5% of the volatility of the WORLD WATER INDEX CW index.

iShares S&P Global Water Fund (the Fund) is an exchange-traded fund (ETF). The Fund aims to track the S&P Global Water Index (the Index) and offers exposure to 50 companies worldwide, which are involved in water-related businesses. The Index distributes constituent weights across two clusters: water utilities and infrastructure, and water equipment and materials. The Index is part of the Standard & Poor’s Global Thematic Index series, which is designed to provide exposure to emerging investment themes.
