TUI AG is a Germany-based company that, through its subsidiaries, is engaged in providing fully-integrated tourism services. The Company’s core activities involve the sale of flight and cruise tickets, tours and hotel accommodation as individual components or packaged tours, to wholesale customers, such as travel agencies, tour operators, as well as individual customers, through Internet portals and its operator brands, such as TUI and Thomson. Its portfolio includes hotels, cruise ships, airlines, aircraft, travel agencies, tour operators and online portals. Its activities are divided into two core segments: Tourism and Other Businesses. The Tourism segment includes the Company’s core business activities, which are grouped into three regions: Northern Region, Central Region, and Western Region. The Other Businesses segment is comprised of the Hotelbed Group and the Specialist Group. The Company is active internationally, with a focus on the United Kingdom, Western Europe and Russia.
