The fund is an exchange traded fund (ETF) that aims to track the performance of the Barclays UK Government Inflation-Linked Bond Index as closely as possible.
The ETF invests in physical index securities. The Barclays UK Government Inflation-Linked Bond Index offers exposure to Sterling denominated inflation-linked bonds. Only bonds that are capital-indexed, linked to an eligible inflation index, have a minimum remaining time to maturity of one year and a minimum amount outstanding of ¡ê300 million are included in the index. iShares ETFs are funds managed by BlackRock.
