HSBC Worldwide Equity UCITS ETF Description
The fund aims is to achieve capital growth over the long term. The fund is an actively managed UCITS ETF. The fund will normally invest at least 90% of its assets in equity securities (i.e. shares) of companies of any size. The fund will invest anywhere in the world, including emerging markets. The Investment Manager identifies stocks from a universe of investable equities from countries anywhere in the world and ranks them from the least attractive to most attractive based upon certain factors, such as Value, Quality, Momentum, Low Risk and Size. The Investment Manager will then quantitatively select stocks to create a portfolio which maximizes the exposure to the highest ranked stocks whilst minimizing the portfolio’s risk characteristics through the application of a series of constraints such as sector and stock weights. The fund may use derivatives to meet its investment objectives. The fund may also use derivatives for hedging or for cash flow management purposes.
