GCP Student Living plc is a student accommodation real estate investment trust (REIT), which focuses on student residential assets. The Company is a closed-ended investment company. The Company's investment objective is to provide shareholders with total returns in the longer term through the potential for modest capital appreciation and regular, sustainable, long-term dividends with retail prices index (RPI) inflation-linked income characteristics. The Company invests in modern, private student residential accommodation and teaching facilities for students studying at academic institutions primarily in and around London. The Company's property portfolio comprises over six high-specification student residential accommodation buildings, of which approximately 96% of the value is located in and around London. The Company's investment manager is Gravis Capital Partners LLP.
