Bristol Water plc is a water supply company. The Company's businesses include Bristol Water Wholesale and Water2Business. Its segments include Retail and Wholesale Water. The Retail segment includes household and non-household. Wholesale Water includes water resources, raw distribution raw water transport, water treatment and treated water distribution. It serves a population of approximately 1.1 million people and associated businesses in an area of over 2,400 square kilometers. Its area of supply ranges from Thornbury and Tetbury in the north to Street and Glastonbury in the south, from Weston-super-Mare in the west to Frome in the east. It has over three reservoirs, such as Chew, Blagdon and Cheddar, and a range of boreholes as sources of raw water. It has a range of treatment works, which feed water into a network of pumping stations, storage reservoirs and mains. It provides support in water supply issues, moving home, saving water, bills and payments, and water meters.
